Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineer, Geology or other related discipline
- Minimum 15 years experiences in mining industry with around 7 years in the managerial role
- A proven talent for identification and management of opportunities and risks by overlaying contractual, financial, and technical awareness in a similar operating environment is essential.
- Outstanding leadership credentials and the ability to drive results will set the successful candidate apart from industry peers.
- Willing to work extended hours to meet deadlines.
- Comprehensive knowledge of mining management principles and practices.
- Has skills such as initiative, technical ,problem solving, creative thinking, reporting communication skill: written & Verbal in English and Indonesian, information monitoring planning & organizing, attention to details, meeting facilitation and negotiation
- Fluent in English both oral & written
- Computer Literate in using MS office & Internet
- Able to prepare and control project budget
- Good leadership and managerial skills to subordinates, tactful to communicate with people in all levels
- Has a POU Certificate from the Directorate General of Mineral and Coal is a MUST.
Key Accountabilities
Position will be fully responsible to maintain and assure the all spectrum of mining operation from exploration to shipment and KTT responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- The KTT will lead the mining discipline, driving a culture of teamwork and performance to ensure continued growth and success by achieving key commercial, safety and business targets.
- Accountable for overall Mining Operations activities (land clearing, drilling, mine survey, overburden stripping, bauxite quality analysis, civil work, etc) and Health Safety and Environment
- Act as a Kepala Teknik Tambang (KTT) to comply with the Government standard
- Accountable for all KTT reports to be sent timely to Minerba ESD/ Bupati
- Ensure field communications are well-established and effective, particularly Emergency Response and general field communications
- Manage and control all mining sites operation for all mining aspect include technical & non-technical to achieve project target
- Manage targeted production and productivity of equipment and manpower.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
