Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a major related to the job requirements (i.e. commerce, international trade, business administration.)
Experience

Responsibilities:
Advise and assist Canadian firms in pursuit of commercial opportunities in Indonesia in the oil and gas sector.
Serve as lead officer of a team of locally engaged trade commissioners working at Canadian embassies around the Association of Southeast Asian Nations region who focus on the oil and gas sector.
Assist in developing and managing team initiatives, facilitating team communication and measuring team performance.
Proactively seek business leads and intelligence for Canadian companies interested in the Indonesian market, providing advice and support as required. Proactively develop and maintain a network of contacts (government and private sector) in support of business objectives.
Plan and implement initiatives to promote Canadian capabilities in the Indonesian market and to promote awareness of opportunities in Indonesia for Canadian companies.
Respond to queries from Canadian companies seeking advice and assistance on doing business in the Indonesian oil and gas sector.
