MINE GEOLOGIST (MG 0101)- 2 ADDITIONAL POSITIONS
- This position role is responsible in providing advice and expertise in the geological aspects of development and production in a gold-silver mining environment. Also, in helping to assure the quality of the mineralised rocks extracted, as well as ensuring the safety in the ore extracting process.
Qualification & Experience:
- Have between 3 – 5 years experience in hard rock mining and / or mineral exploration.
- Drilling program design.
- Geological ore definition.
- Experience in Pit mapping and sampling programs.
- Tertiary qualified in Geology.
- A good understanding gold-silver mineralogy will be well regarded.
- Good communication and reporting in English.
- Good technical report writing skills.
- Drivers license.
- Willing to work hard in the field job and interested in ongoing training programs.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and Grade Control / Mining software packages; experiences in Surpac will be well regarded.
