Oil and Gas Job Vacancy RESERVOIR ENGINEER – Jakarta Raya
Qualification & Experience:
- Between 5-8 years of related reservoir engineering experience gained in operated oil and gas company
- Expertise in reservoir/petroleum engineering: reservoir simulation, well test analysis, PVT, production optimization, field development planning, etc.
- Familiarity with reservoir and petroleum engineering software tools, such as ECLIPSE, PanSys, MBAL/Prosper/GAP, Petrel.
- Bachelor degree/minimum S1 majoring in Engineering.
- Good track record of interacting with regulatory and governmental bodies.
- Knowledge of and ability to interact effectively with other disciplines, e.g. G&G, drilling, projects, commercial
- Willing to work in a multicultural organization and be able to establish effective relationships with people of other culture and backgrounds
- Motivated self-starter able to work with minimum supervision
- Adaptable and flexible to meet the needs of a small dynamic organization
- Good communication skills both in Bahasa and English.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Report to the Exploitation Manager
- Provide reservoir and production engineering expertise to support the operated and non-operated assets for Salamander Energy.
- Represent Company at partner meetings.
- Provide monthly production forecasts and annual budgets for blocks.
- Develop good working relationship’s with the operator’s technical teams in order to provide technical update on partner’s operation.
- Provide technical support and analysis for yearly reserve study with external auditors, compile annual reserves book for all Company assets.
- Provide update for Salamander’s annual asset review for the non-operated blocks.
- Experienced in reservoir and production engineering tools, e.g., pressure transient analysis, material balance, dynamic simulation and economic analysis.
