Responsibilities:
As Sales Engineer , the incumbent is tasked with promoting the company’s Services, developing and winning new business and driving sales to achieve revenue goals.
Establish sales leads and contacts recording information in the company’s data system.
Identify and cultivate new sales / business opportunities in order to meet sales target objectives for the Indonesia business region.
Identify a clear understanding of client enquiry requirements ad relay same back to Operations managers for the generation of commercial / technical proposals.
Promote, present and sell the company’s portfolio of services to existing and new clients in a professional manner and offer optional / alternative solutions where applicable.
Communicate directly with Operations managers and staffs to ensure planning and completion of technical / commercial proposals are achieved and submitted on time.
Computing technical / commercial proposals.
Follow up on submitted sales enquiries and close to order award where necessary.
Although based in Indonesia, the position will require occasional travel within the region to meet with clients.
Candidate will be of graduate calibre and will have past experiences in a technical sales role. A detailed knowledge of Sparrows offering is not essential as famiilarisation and in-house training will be provided on an ongoing basis as necessary.
Requirements:
Minimum3 year experience in Sales and Marketing in Offshore Crane Business
Self motivated and customer service oriented.
Able to prepare sales quotations, purchase orders and shipping documentation.
Preferably with past sales experience in the trading of marine industry, hydraulic system and parts for the Crane
